When choosing between Best-of-Breed (specialised tools for dedicated purposes) or Best-of-Suite (“all-in-one solutions”), organisations must consider their size, complexity, and specific needs. Best-of-Suite solutions offer cohesion but may lack the necessary functionality, while Best-of-Breed provides specialised excellence with potential integration challenges. Recent trends favour integrated solutions, with 60% of organisations opting for them, though specialised tools remain valuable for high-performing enterprises.

Nonetheless, AI offers great opportunities for upskilling and transforming roles, with 50% of HR leaders reporting it enables employee development rather than job displacement.
